Did anyone say “unfunded”?

Days since Labour said they would say how they’re going to pay for their unfunded spending commitments:

Promoted by Alan Mabbutt on behalf of the Conservative Party, both of 4 Matthew Parker Street, London SW1H 9HQ

Labour can’t say how they’d pay for their policies because they don’t have a plan – and that means a worse future with higher taxes and higher bills for everyone. They’d take us back to square one.

Here are 3 key questions we think they should answer:

  1. How can you possibly not raise taxes to pay for your unfunded spending commitments?
  2. Why are you against the Conservatives’ long-term plan to eliminate the double jobs tax? Why should people have to pay Income Tax AND National Insurance?
  3. How would you fund Labour’s 2030 decarbonisation policy which you admit would cost £28 BILLION each year?
